What is the purpose of life? - a profound question - but a question that many people do not have time to ponder or the mental stimulation to even conceive. Their lives are too busy with the work of survival, the day-to-day effort of feeding a family, fighting off disease or finding shelter.
Is the purpose of life just to survive or should we pursue something more, for our selves and our neighbors?
There are times when we should just give: give food, give shelter, give comfort. This is to fulfill the immediate need in time of disaster.
There are also times when we should give the tools of survival: give a plow, make a job, provide a means of livelihood. These things will sustain a person in need beyond the day, maybe for a life.
But there is something more we as people need, that is HOPE - hope to inspire, hope to dream, and hope to endure.
It is the Passion, the Purpose, the Hope of Hope Inspired to impart this hope, through education, community development, job skills training, built on a foundation of the Good News expressed by Jesus Christ that He came that you might have life and have it abundantly.
1 Thessalonians 1:3
We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Hope Inspire is involved in two ongoing projects: “The Gujjars” -a community development project, and a child sponsorship program -“Children’s Homes India”.
